    Uncharted demo next Thursday, 11/8.

    I have played through the demo twice now. Very good looking, sounding, and above all else fun game. This went from a maybe to an instant pre-order for me. The animations are second to none, and the overall feel is incredible with LPCM 7.1 audio. I am quite impressed :)

    PS3 2.0 update coming tomorrow, 11/8.

    Just a quick heads up to those who care - this update gives 5.1 audio support in the XMB, so converted mp4's and such can now be played back in 5.1. Looks like a few hundred GB's of re-encoding for me....

    XFX 8800 GTS 320 MB vanilla @ 650 MHz / 1512 MHz / 2 GHz... Is it safe?

    Because the shaders can be run faster than the max core clock allows - i.e. there is still room for the shader clock to increase when the max stable core clock is acheived.

    Thinking about getting a PS2, but which one is the best to get?

    Go for the old fat one + network adapter & any IDE hard drive = hdloader heaven. All of my games are backed up to the hard drive, so I get much faster load times plus no chance of ruining a disk. Also, the chance of disc read error's are nearly gone. pm me if you want more details.

    Is there any way to fix a dead pixel?

    You can try to very gently rub it... use something that wont muck up or scratch your screen over your finger, like a lens cloth. Give it a few small circles, and see if it help. I fixed ~3 on my GF's Samsung a year or so ago doing it.
