How do I increase the speed of my PS/2 mouse port?

I would have thought that would be related to the BIOS or FSB... I may be confused but I thought it was meant to run @ 33.3MHz.

Overclocking FX-55

I would make sure you have the latest BIOS flashed (sometimes they make the temp readings more accurate with a BIOS update). I would tend to believe the BIOS more than a program because it's my understanding that the program is getting its temp reading from the BIOS anyways.... (could be wrong)...

Heat Emergency!!!

Sounds like something a CompUSA worker would recommend... LOL. Not sure why but I do have an A64 3500+ that is running @ 65+ @ idel and at load. Could be poor temp reading from the Asus Probe software but it hasn't resulted in sluggishness, BSoDs, corruption, etc yet. How is your CPU running...

Who has an SLI system working with LCD monitor?

Liquid Video A170E101 works flawlessly with SLI enabled. Its only a 17" LCD (no widescreen) and it only has a VGA input but it works and its cheap.

Screwed this thread up

1280x1024 on my standard online-gaming rig (6600GT - 17" LCD). 1600x1200 on my SLI'd 6800 Ultras (17" LCD). I'm hoping to get this working with my 53" HDTV though and if that happens I am planning on maxing out the res. Will repost once its all up and running.

CS:S lagging at menu

I had that same prob when I 1st installed CSS. The server listings would lag and take about 2+ mins to stop refreshing before I could join a server. I had his problem for about 2 days until after I switched to a new nVidia driver. I wouldn't think that would affect the server listings like that...

I think the recent escalation in mobo problems is probably due to the multiple new technologies that they are implementing (PCIe, SATA2, SLI, etc). It looks like all the manufacturers are rushing to get these features to consumers and don't take enough time to work out bugs and PROPERLY document...

Are nVidia cards any good for Twin Screen support?

I think the nVidia nView is extremely easy to use. I have never used ATI with 2 monitors. I just built a rig for a customer using 12 LCDs running off of an AGP nVidia 5600U and a PCI nVidia MX4200. Works like a champ (@ multi-task/multi-desktop). He uses only VGA connects but video looks fine...

Need PS Recommendation (Need LONG 24 pin cable)

I got an Enermax Noisetaker 600W PS and its ATX plug lead is pretty dang long. So much in fact that I am thinking of hacking about 6" off it. I think it cost $150 but its SLI ready and should handle just about whatever components you through at it.

Best Memory for A8N Asus Deluxe???

I've been using the GSkillz PC4400 with my A8N. No problems up until I hit 215MHz. I'm guessing that my issues @ 215 are due to user BIOS settings though (RAM timing etc). Don't have the model # of the RAM in front of me... I have read good reviews about OCZ and G.Skill in this Asus.
