[SOLVED...kind of] VERY CONFUSED! Which of the offical drivers should I (not) use on my A8N-SLI based system?

Has anyone been able to get the NVMixer to work with the ASUS board? I like the interface better than the Realtek solution. Everytime I try to run it, however, I do not get any sound (no sound through the digital port). Is there a trick that anyone has done? Thanks. Spencer

Are you using the ASUS drivers or are you using the drivers that you download from nVidia's website? When I use the nVidia nForce4 standalone, I no longer have working audio on the digital ports (I haven't tested the analog). Which did you install? Thanks.

(ordered) Leadtek nVIDIA GeForce 6800 Video Card, 256MB DDR, 256-Bit, TV-Out/DVI, PCI-Express

Not sure if you already bought the card (I am sure you have), but for anyone interested--and living in San Diego, there's a place called Mictrotron that sells the Leadtek PX6800 PCI-express video cards (it's not the LE version) with SLI for $195 each. At that price, it's cheaper than many 6600 GTs.

The True Power is exactly the PSU that I am using. I am running 2 6800 video cards, three fast hards drives, 2 sticks of memory, and two optical drives, as well as a slew of USB devices. And I have been burning it in -- over 8 hours of 3D Mark 2005 benchmarking. So far, so good.

I am glad I found this forum. I installed the newest version of the standalone nForce 4 drivers from nVidia's website. After I did that, I no longer have sound from the TOSLINK optical digital out. Any ideas as to what I should do? Thanks in advance.
