my friend has a mobile 2600 and he got his up to 2.5Ghz but you have tp push more voltage through it...i think my friend has about 1.7-1.75 volts for it to be stable
im sure that MSI RS480M2 board will be able to over clock like crazy too, once they come out with a bios revision for it...right now MSI doesnt want to take sales away form their OCing Nvidia boards
i personally want to see what these xpress chipsets can do
its a great power supply
30a on the 12v and adjustable rails
i dont know what someone was smoking when they said it was too underpowered to handle one 6600gt
a little on the $$ side but great quality
if you are on a tight budget then socket 754 is the way to go
there is no reason to buy a socket a anymore unless maybe you feel like ocing a mobile barton
isopropyl alcohol is what you want to use
i forget what % but i usually just use rubbing alcohol and it works fine its only like 70% which i think is low, but ive never had any problem
all looks good...i mean 11x200 is 3200 speed
and like blueWeasel said you can up to voltage to the 1.7 range with no prob
just keep the temps below 60c under load
if thats value corsair you could probably even sqeeze out about 5-10 mhz upping your fsb to the 410-420 range
you wont see any OC difference between those two
but with your a64 the memory doesnt really matter just use a divider to OC
again i would say go with the corsair

after reading that hl2 review i feel pretty confident about getting a 6600gt, the performance was basically identical at all resolutions
what do you all think of this one here?
thanks for the replies!
was thinking of this one
just wondering if i could get it cheaper elsewhere?
because this is quite a bit more than the $200 or so it would cost me to get a 6600gt
I love these forums and figured it was time to post something. I iwsh i found this place earlier.
anyway, i'll get to the point: im in the market for a new agp video card and i was wondering if the extra price is worth it for the 6800. The 6600gt seems like a good card and the one i was...
