why 100% cpu usage?

well maybe it has something to do with shockwave, since those 4 chrome tabs all used them and have been opening for a few days. The CPU usage went down to single digits once I closed all those chrome tabs and opened some new ones. Regular web pages and youtube don't seem to be causing too much...

I've been noticing the fan on my 3 year old Lenovo laptop being on constantly. I haven't reformatted for a while, but also don't have too much stuff installed on this computer. Looking at task manager, it seems the reason for the fan on is presumably to cool the CPU, which is always near 100%...
