best 160gb sata drive to use with A8N-SLI

IS INTEL really better?

I've owned all types of motherboards, and in my experience, the most stable, trouble-free platform I've used has/is the Nforce4. Next is Nforce2, then Intel, AMD, Via.

20 pin ATX power into 24 pin motherboard?

Get the 20-24pin adapter. It costs $5, and saves lots of potential hassle. It's a no brainer really. I've been using the adapter with my Enermax and A8N-SLI and it works perfectly, as it should.

A8N-SLI chipset fan error on boot

I wonder if the A8N-SLI bios is setup differently than the Deluxe one? I replaced the chipset fan with a heatsink, and I've never had an error about the fan speed. I even have the "Halt On Errors" enabled

A8N SLI (not deluxe) trouble.

NiceGuy, I was planning to do this, so I went out and bought a 40mm fan. However, I had no way to attach it because the little screws that hold the default cover on are not long enough, and I couldnt find andy screws anywhere that were thin enough to work on the default heatsink. What did you use?
