The 6.53 drivers definitely fixed a networking issue I was having with Ghostcast server. The Ghostcast server PC (Nforce4) would hang during a Ghostcast session, and after installing 6.53 the issue went away.
NVidia recently released NForce4 version 6.53. It resolves several issues including a networking error I was experiencing with Ghostcast server. Highly recommend installing it if you haven't already.

I purchased a Gigabyte 6800 card and it sucked in Far Cry as well. I sent it back and got an Ati X800XL - runs great! I had to eat $40 in restock fees but I regretted that 6800 card so much. It scored pretty well in 3DMark03 - 9000 or so.

To use NVidia NTune I had to flash the BIOS to the latest version 2.0, and use NTune version 2.00.23.05. NTune is kinda cool - it gives you CPU and mobo temps, overclocking options, and benchmarking utils.
The 64-bit SATA drivers would have to be provided by nVidia. As luck would have it they've recently posted the 64-bit nForce4 Beta drivers in their downloads section:
