Looking for a nice lightweight laptop with great battery life and enough power to run 2-3 instances of bluestacks. Hopefully 8gb + ram and a 1920+ resolution as well. Price range sub $1500.
I was thinking maybe Samsung or asus ... but haven’t been laptop shopping in like 10 years haha. Mainly...
So basically ... I am trying to schedule the program to be opened. The software is a mouse recording software that I have already built what I want it to do. So I was hoping to schedule the task to open the mouse recording software. Then the CTRL+A is the quick key command that will play my...
I am looking for a software that can schedule programs to run at certain times throughout the day. Also have it be able to command the program it opens to play once it opens it.
I have tried windows task manager, but I cannot seem to get it to actually use the key commands to play the software...
I am trying to set up some task scheduling stuff. However once I get the program going I cannot get the keyboard shortcut to play the program.
I have in arguments - WshShell.SendKeys “^{A}”

What am I missing with this. As far as my research goes this is the...
Unraid does have a cool feature of using an SSD as a cache drive to improve performance. Is this a common thing from all the other OS?
I would be brand new to Linux so I don't want to screw something up or forget a step and leave my system wide open to the world or something like that. Is...
Yep I was debating rad5 and raid10. I think streaming movies and such from it should work with either setup though.
This would be a first if I went Linux, I have never messed with that before so what is the learning curve for a server setup through Linux?
Unraid and windows 7 look the most...
so this is the plan ...
I am going to run a computer for storing my media like movies and pics as a backup in raid5. I want to run Plex or Emby server as well on here and link all my tv/roku to it to stream.

how is Plex's metadata gathering? Will it go out and find all the info of a movie and all that? I see that some of the features you need to pay for monthly ... that is kind of annoying
XMBC used to do that with IMDB. Is it still like that now?
I just got my home server and now I need to load up my media center software. It has been probably 5-7 years since I have used a media center and it was the old XMBC software.
Now it is named Kodi and windows media center will not be as easy to setup for me since I am going to setup my whole...
Speed is not a huge thing to. Mostly it will be a quick phone video or some pics. Important files and things like that.
I am still deciding on raid. 6 needs two drives to fail which seems very rare before I can get it replaced. Raid 10 seems a solid choice but not sure about the failing drive...
Thanks. I was about to say every website I've ever read must of been wrong haha.
True the raid controller would be nice over what a onboard NAS will be. Just don't have that much $$ to be building my own setup.
My main wants for the NAS
Data security
Least amount of risk for losing data
Connections to clouds
A lot of options for sharing folders
Easy access and movement around the NAS UI
Ok at the moment I have a top 3:
Qnap
Synology
Asustor
I tried the live demos on each site. Qnap and...

display: none;
}
#nav ul {

Thanks ahead of time!
I am needing to make a small business website, as well as a wedding website (which will be my testing grounds haha - shhh dont tell the fiance) I was wondering if Drupal is one of the better options out there? I have some basic knowledge of coding websites but nothing amazing. A few buddies...

Just nice to see CEO's giving their time to support to non main stream guys ... :thumbsup:
I am in the middle of buying some 1.5TB western digital green drives for raid5. My buddy told me this was a horrible choice and I would have lots of down time and all that trying to fix everything when my system kicks a drive out of raid ....
thoughts? :confused::confused::confused:
Well the release notes are different from each AMD and Nvidia. Looking at their normal GPU reviews they did not have most of the AMD release notes games.
Although they should have tested non release note games like they did for Nvidia. Maybe they learned from the AMD driver testing to test...
The Fermi Arch. keeps changing. Not completely new, but it is changing. That is why they are up to GF114 silicon now. As they improve their cards it takes a little bit to figure them out to fix the drivers as well. :thumbsup:
I wasnt making it out to be a huge deal. I was just saying some people have reported problems so you should keep an eye out for it and be aware :thumbsup:
Hmmm, ya that does look really good. What do they use to make their charts with? Anyone know?
I think the TR charts look fine, but they need to fix how they are presented and maybe work some different color in or something. Like the anandtech charts have.
True, there are better way to organize charts and info for the articles, I completely agree. Looking at other reviews on their site, however, they seem to be limited in space for the article, width wise. It looks like a bloggers type of formatting with the small borders, maybe wordpress is being...
