Problem with video playback.

Not exactly sure if this is the right place to post this but hopefully someone can help me anyways. I'm running Vista and out of nowhere, when I play any type of video the colors are really blue. None of my desktop colors are affected or videos streamed off a website. I've tried multiple...

Salvaging documents on crashed drive.

Its not the controller, I tried hooking it up as a master to another computer and it wouldn't detect. Its fuxed. Oh well. Not my money :D

Well, the harddrive is definatley shot, but I was able to hook it up as a slave to my other system and luckily enough, when windows booted, it was detected and I was able to pull of the files I needed. Thanks for effort.

The things is, I can hear the harddrive spin up and it sounds fine. However, it will not be detected, I might be SOL but I just want to make sure before I give up on it.

Alright so this computer at work all of a sudden crashed and won't detect the harddrive anymore. I was wondering if there is any way i could possibly try to retrieve some of the data manually. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I was just wondering if there is any "universal drivers" for network cards for windows 98se. I am working on this computer and I have no clue what kind of cards they are, so I cant find out where to go to get the drivers. If anyone has any idea to find out the brand. Or if there is universal...

Audio Codec?

It seems that I am missing an audio codec that I once had. I have a movie that used to play audio and video just fine but now for some reason can only play the video. If someone has a link to the codec(s) i need, that'd be appreciated. Thanks.

For about the past month i havent been able to access google.com from my computer. However the other computer on my home network goes to it just fine. A little page shows up instead that says, there is no website configured at this address. Any help or ideas would be appreciated, Thanks.

Yeah "Not being able to watch DVD's with LINUX" makes this country a piece a shit. I can think of many other things that makes this country suck, and one of them needs to work on their grammar.

Trouble identifying 56k modem.....

I found the problem......There was just about a 1cm part of the mobo touchin part of the cd rom drive bay....So I said to myself " maybe this is causing the mobo to short out therefore not boot " so I took mobo out and it booted fine out of the case so I just took a couple pieces of electrical...

I have eliminated the powerswitch problem....and yes the power switch is connected to the right jumper...It seems as if we have narrowed it down to the powersupply or the motherboard itself to be faulty.....When you put the power switch on the corresponding jumper do u remember what side the...

UT Problems.

There is plans of starting a wireless ISP. A smaller isp maybe 500 users tops and what kind of stuff would you need to start this. We will have a area of about 3 square miles, what type of equipment would be needed to service the people?

Ok, heres the deal.....I buy a router and hook one computer up..Now i want to add another computer, real old packardbell p233mmx. anyway i install the NIC and everything but when i plug it into the router it freezes on boot up. any suggestions? hubbs
