you are quite right - im not sure where Computer Man got x10 from since if he did boost it that much it wouldnt effect speeds since its locked...yes you are right - 3000 winnies are locked at x9
Mine is currently up to 255x9 @ 2295 with PC4000 1gb Ballistix... i was a little disappointed last night as i cranked her to HTT: 265 and posted fine, SuperPI tested fine at 1mb and 2mb and was even running super cool (23c idle) - whille playing world of warcraft my ping would suffer and program...
this sounds like one of my CPU-Architecture lessons :) was fun but unfortunetly over in the UK there isnt much CPU engineering jobs happening..

At the moment got my 3000+ Winnie on 2205 (9xHTT, 4xHT, 245x9) and cruicial ballistix pc4000 at 245Mhz Cas 3 4.4.8
i read that i could probably bump her to 2400 mark with no problems as long as memory plays along - and thats not touching volts :)
il check out bench results tonight and post - at the moment - Farcry works like a dream (cant figure out fps command yet) and World of Warcraft runs at around 75Mhz which is nice...
