Best LCD monitor for my tired eyes..

Hi guys, I've gone back to using my desktop PC after having latest model Tohsiba laptops. One thing I have noticed is that my 2yr old Dell LCD Ultra Bright monitor is causing me bad eye strain. I don't know what to look out for in terms of buying a new monitor which will strain my eyes...

Good reliable motherboard to replace faulty Asus A8N-E

Hi guys, I have a faulty Asus A8N-E motherboard, PCI slots don't work and graphics port is dodgy. Anyway, I need a new one to replace it. I have a socket 939 Athlon 64 with a PCI-E graphics card. Any suggestions for a good reliable one?? I don't want to spend too much. Any help...

Got my Audiophile 2496 today, and running the Creative 2.1 setup I can notice a slight improvement. Still waiting for cable for my headphones. One thing though,,, I can't change the volume and fader settings in M-Audio Control Panel! I try muting and changing the volumes but nothing...

Thanks yet again! What would digital offer over analog for the NAD?? The Creative 2.1 speaker setup has 'digital in' port which is coaxial.

Thanks for your quick reply! :) I wouldn't necessarily need to have all that equipment hooked up at one time. The M-Audio cards look at the best bet with their digital I/O. I might get a 2nd hand Audiophile 192, if not I'll get a 2496. Will I be dissapointed with either? Is the 192...

Looked up the spec, it states the following: AC input voltage: 100 to 240 VAC / 50 Hz / 60 Hz + 3 Hz / 2.0A (Max.) So it should be fine :).

I was looking to buy a Dell, so I'd have to get a Dell monitor as part of the package. If you say the UltraSharp ones are 'pretty decent', thats good enough for me. I knew Samsung, etc would be better. Just as long as there not MUCH better.
