I have a macbook air with the latest el capitan. When I am scrolling (browser or finder) there is a subtle line of pixels around the images and text while the page is moving. Didn't notice this until now. Is there anyone having this issue?
@ MichaelD: it supports both IDE and SATA
At the moment I can't get any more information on it because the store is closed, but judging by the price I think it's pretty basic. Can you recommend a resonably priced one?
Update: I didn't find a way to work with the framebuffer in C#, but I managed to find a way to use unsafe code to get faster response: ~1 sec. I guess it will have to do. Anyway I would have scan the entire image (from the framebuffer) for changes.
I'm trying to write a program (in C#, but I can work in Java too) that takes (frequently) printscreens and sends them to another computer.
Right now, it needs 2-3 secs to process the printscreen(800x600) (I'm sending only the changes from previous screenshot) and it's too slow. What I do is...
I've been trying to read the Everest WMI with C# without any success.
This is part of the code (just an example):
SelectQuery query = new SelectQuery(@"Select * from Root\WMI\EVEREST_SensorValues");
ManagementObjectSearcher wmiSearcher = new...
Initially I thought of getting the Abit Fatal1ty F-I90HD, but after reading alot of reviews and user opinions (Review) I saw that's not a stable mobo, with multiple issues; I decided that's not the motherboard I want in my new rig. So now I'm on a quest for a very stable motherboard capable of a...
Thank you Roguestar, does it realy worth paying double for the E6420 for the faster FSB and 330MHZ speed difference?
I don't know if I'm going to overclock it because I intend to install a passive cooler on the cpu - I would like it as silent as posible, hence the Antec Sonata case.
This PC...
I'm building a new PC and I lean towards a small form (mATX) and passive cooled where possible.
This is what I've picked so far and I'd like to hear you opinions:
motherboard: ABIT Fatal1ty F-I90HD
cpu: Core 2 Duo E6420
video: Gigabyte 8500GT
or use the onboard video
memory: OCZ DDR2...
Now why would you say that?! Do you know me?
That's very helpful !!...
There are enough awful creatures in existence, we don't need anymore.
If you don't know/want to help then you're useless and your "advice" not welcomed nor wanted.
Of course I knew about it, but the first one can't be applied to what I need (numbers of different lengths) and the second one I can't understand it 100%. If you can decipher it that would be great.
Thank you for your reply, but no. There is a reason I want the algorithm: most of the sources out there are in languages that I don't know to program or the code is very difficult to understand.
Thanks for you reply. It'a an old camera that requires 4 AA batteries (1.2Vx4 each). That's why I don't know why the "original" canon adapter has such a low output. 4 alkaline bateries at 1.5V each would also work
Edit: corrected the batteries output.
Hi. I have a Canon A75 digital camera and I would like to connect it to a ac/dc adapter because at the moment I'm using it as a webcam. In its guide I found that its optional adapter is rated 4.3V/1.5A. While I was looking through my dc adapters/chargers I found one from my Creative Vision M...
A friend asked me to recommend him a ultraportable laptop (not heavier than 1.5kg) and so of course I thought the X60s is a good choise. The lack of a optical drive is a major disavantage for him. Is there a way to install one internally? Is there a better laptop? Thanks
I need to remote control the computer of one of my relatives and I tried alot of utilities without any succes: his ISP is using a proxy that blocks any atempt. I've just came across LogMeIn and it looked nice - keep in mind I haven't realy read alot about it.
I have canceled the option "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display"
Around 1680x1050 I see: 1360x768; 1600x900; 1600x1024 (this looks like the closest one); 1600x1200;.....This is from a 6600GT.
I'm not going to upgrade only because of this, but if you know a cheap video card able to...
I'm planning on getting a new 22" LCD, maybe a BENQ FP222W, but I realised that all my PCs don't support the 1680x1050 native resolution. What's the closest resolution that will be supported by the PC and monitor?
I have a few java games for a motorola v3x and would like to test them first. I know that there has to be a mobile phone emulator, but I simply can't find one - that works (I used successfully one a couples of years agor for a nokia phone).
I would like to buy a new LCD monitor and I think I found a good price for this Asus LCD monitor MW221U
Does any of you have ny experience with it?
Thanks
OK, I'll try Hamachi, after all it's free (and most of you recommended it)
If I won't like it I have Winsshd as backup.
I'm also interested in playing games over this network.
Thank you for your replies.
Hi guys. I want to make a virtual network over the internet between me and my brother. What program do you recommend? I found one called Hamachi. Any thoughts? Thanks
I want to back it up not clone it as I don't have an external hard disk. I think I will try Acronis because it gives you the option to create a bootable ISO/CD/DVD where you can add the image and it's posible to create the image from the boot cd and not only from Windows as Norton does. Thank...
