Good Deal! I love Monarch! They shipped all my past orders fast and they upgraded my shipping Free of Charge! Best of all, no CA sales Tax!!! Good Deal for $399!!!
Forgot, it caused me a lot of "mental anguish" and I'm now "traumatized" to online shopping since large honorable corporate sites use this bait and switch tactics. I don't think I'll shop online ever again...
Do you think my case will hold in court? heheee
It is not a scam. I actually got a SONY MFM-HT95 monitor for $718 out the door which included 7.75% sales tax during their last "Cost for all Employees and Friends" promo. The unit retails for $799 ($861 with CA TAX) and CompUSA Cost was around $666.
So this really isn't a scam, it just...
I'm not sure about that.
Why dont you try it when you're at the show and see if they'll give you an extra bundle for free. :D
Report back here if you are successful.
ROFL! HAHAHAAAAA....
AMD Exec Assistant: Sir, we just got word that a guy started dancing on tables...
I had a XFX card long ago and no probs. But not the best of performance based on the specs. If it were BFG it would be HOT! Even if it were Leadtek it would be Mild Hot, but XFX...Warm I think.
BFG 6600GT OC PCI-E at CompuUSA "COST" $203 + 5% = $213.15 + 8.25% Tax = $230.73
Hot? NOT!
Can get it at Monarch for $223 + Free Game and NO CA SALES TAX!
99% of me believes you, 1% of me would like to believes their cost will be an "Actual Product COST from Manufacturer + Their Processing Cost + Operations Cost + Marketing Cost + other BS Cost you can possibly think of = a Price lower than their Full Retail but still far from the "ACTUAL COST"...
I doubt their margin is so low. I saw the BFG 6600GT OC at my local CompUSA and it was retailing for $250 two days ago when I picked up BF2. I know that card is only $170~$185 their cost as of MAY 05 (my best friend works at a large computer hardware distribution company) and told me about...
Is this really a Hot Deal? I heard from my friend that they do this kind of deals every so often and that their "Cost" is BS. so BS + % = Not so good of a deal. Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks.
