Example of backlight bleeding?

about the card reader - did you plug the usb cord into your monitor (square plug on one end normal rectangle on the other). the card reader doesn't interface through the dvi connection.

Overclocking with the FX-57

That Big Typhoon is awesome, I've got one and even though installation sucks performance more than makes up for it. Check out some reveiws, and the backplate included with the Typhoon distributes its weight very evenly.

Dual Monitor and Video Playback

True but those PS2 games run at At far less than a third the resolution; i own both games and while they are pretty the gameplay is far more important than the graphics when you play them on the same monitor, which I do.

I've got a similar issue with my 6800gt; how easy was the RMA. Was it with newegg? Did they give you any prospective dates for getting your new hardware? Also I've got a enermax 420w psu 12v line ~12.352 5v line ~4.78 3.3v line ~3.26 vcore line~1.65 all doublechecked with multimeter

will an fx 5200 run bf2?

Yeah my roommate has a Athalon 2500+ with 5200 and 512ram and gets very playable frame rates albeit with all seetings to low, still doesn't look toooo bad. Big difference though between that and a 6800 gt(my rig).

Fixing Dead Pixels

LOL; it works I just tried it on this 15" i had lying around. This one slightly dim pixel on my 24" just popped up; I'm kinda nervous about messing it up even more. Has anyone had (created) any problems when rubbing?

Good 6800GT overclock?

As long as you have a pretty decent ambient temp ( Air Conditioning running) you should be able to swap the bios for an ultra rev. 4. Its 425gpu/1.10mem and for me i get 51c-idle/78c-load using the nv5 silencer. Oh yeah mine was an EVGA 6800gt also.
