Trying to install bf2 on a diff partition

Everytime i click next when i assign the destination to my H: drive which is my partition for games, it says it is unsafe and wont continue. Any ideas on whats going on?

How much power would I need for this setup?

I would probably recommend a 700W power supply just to be future proof. Mabe this one. Its got good effeciency so the rails and voltages are stable under load. This is also a good power supply, got a lot of powerful rails that will keep your system stable. Just my two cents.

best fan for overclocking an Opteron 165

i have the thermaltake big typhoon, i currently have my cpu oc'd to 2.7 idling at 41C, it runs stable at load too, but the thermaltake is #1 in my book, just my 2 centssssssss

Overclocking question for my 165..

How did u find out its using 242? Cpu-z tells me its running at 227.6, I use orthos and run 2 instances on that with small ftt, i also use prime 95 and run 2 instances on that also for about 15-20 min, i just need some more advice though on how to run them both, im not sure how to use prime that...

finally it just decided to work, i already made my cd rom my first boot, but i reset the cmos and did the whole thing all over and now it works oddly..thanks for the replies guys

After it says press any key to boot from cd, after a couple dots later it will say NTLDR is missing press ctrl+alt+del to restart and it keeps doing that. Anyone know whats wrong please tell me what to do?

Weird thing that happens on mozilla

i have 2 gigs of ram, plus i think i figured out the problem, i have my battlefield 2 refresh rate at 70 and my desktop refresh rate also at 70 which didnt help, i raised my refresh rate on my desktop to 75 and now when i minimize to scroll in mozilla or opera it works fine.

i also tried opera and the same thing happens, everytime im in battlefield 2 and i minimize to scroll up and down, its not smooth, the screen skips everytime i scroll, could it be a video card issue? i have th most current up to date drivers so i dont kno why its a problem.

When im surfing on mozilla and i have bf2 up, if i try to scroll it skips and its not smooth when i try to scroll down or up. I have no clue what this could be. Any one have same issue if they have any game running while surfing the internet?

I decided to get the Opteron 165 tonight because of the steppings coming out for it have been good on overclocks. The thing is though what would i need in order for it to work on my comp. I kno i need the current bios for my motherboard, I also know i need drivers for it but i dont know where to...

Thanks for all the quick replies. I have 2 gigs of g skill ram, the red ones i forgot what model it was, but i thought that the ultra d does support dual core, i guess thats old news though, ill double check on it. I was thinking to get denmark the 170 series i heard those are pretty good...

I believe that getting dual core would probably benefit me more, but for now i just want opinions. I pretty much just play bf2 and surf the internet, but sometimes i burn cd's while im playing ect. I dont really lag in bf2 i just stutter a bit, so probably getting dual core would be a better...

Weird mhz on my card

In the newest drivers for ati 6.4, it says my core is 594 mhz and that my memory is 700...I dont know why it is this way, shouldnt it be 625 for the core and 750 for memory? My X1800XT should be at 625 on the core and 750 for the memory. Anyone know why this is happening?

Ever sicne i got my new monitor (Samsung 730B) which was yesterday i was trying to get into bf2, it worked on my crt monitor i had fine, but now once i try to load into bf2, it will load for 2 seconds and then close. I have no clue what this is from, i tried reinstalling bf2, but it still doesnt...

I plugged in everything, it has analog so i have a analog to dvi converer that came with my video card, btw im getting a dvi cable soon. Anyways when i try to load into bf2 it will auto adjust and then close bf2. I tried loading bf2, but it doesnt happen in it. Its only bf2 that it just loads...
