Second receivers are $6.99/mo--they call it the family plan. First receiver on the account is $12.95/month. I've been with XM for nearly two years, and it's the best entertainment dollars I spend. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

This is a very solid receiver (I used to own a Roady2 before moving to the SkyFi2, back when the R2 was $129.) The recent Docker's deal was a promotion which required you to buy a lot of Dockers... if I recall correctly, wasn't it a $200 purchase to get the free R2? I could be off on that...

Well, you are in the wrong forum, so be prepared. However... FWIW I understood that warranties on Dell monitors aren't transferable. ie, no warranty if bought on eBay. And you will find them cheaper direct from Dell if you buy when the right coupons and sales are out there.

Wrong-it does come with cables. AFAIK, all Dell digital fp's come with both VGA and DVI cables (at least my 1905fp and 2005fpw did.) Ready-to-go, right out of the box. :)

Unless they are shipping different variations, I know what kind it uses: Prolific PL3507. I bought one of these from the same outfit (xpcgear.com). It fries large hard drives using the firewire connector. Not trying to threadcrap, but those of you spending your $$ should be aware.

I bought one of these a while back. It had the horrible Prolific PL3507 chipset. Fried a brand new 160gb HD using firewire. If I'm not mistaken, this chipset can't handle drives larger than 120gb, or something like that. edited for speeling... ;)
