yeah, this is the firmware my dvd-rom currently uses
since there is nothing new i can't update my drive...i guess i have to buy another dvd-rom drive:disgust:maybe a liteon?
i have the LHNT-DR1600
in the past norcent used to have the actual firmware (2 versions) but now they are gone...all that's left is this udf zip file under dos drivers..i'm not sure if this will solve the problem or not...
it's a norcent, firmware 422O....i've looked at firmware-flash.com and it never gets updated
i'm sure it's junk cos it has enough problems just playing dvds
yeah, could be cramping...maybe shin splints...i would also suggest getting better pairs of shoes, new balance 991....quite expensive but they feel so good on your feet and practically do the running for you

dvds burned with the optorite drive do not read on my other dvd-rom drive
the dvds read just fine on the optorite drive though...one thing that i notice is that on nero tool kit, for the generic dvd-rom drive, dvd-r and dvd+r compatibility is not checked....
is it possible that my generic...
i need to move a storage hard drive from a ide to raid controller...should i be concerned about losing data or having to reformat this hard drive in order for it to be recognized properly? it is not an os drive and the files on the dirve are too large to burn

how do i do this? i can't seem to get ie to accept my opera bookmarks...it just doesn't recognize the *.adr file...or am i forced to use some 3rd party software to do this?

it would seem as though this is more of a hardware issue, like my output cable going into the soundcard is screwed up...but it seems unlikely
then again, when this was all going down last...
i installed a new hard drive into my computer into the raid controller cos i have no more available slots on any other ide controllers...i was under the impression that i could put a hard drive on that controller and have it function not as a raid drive
well i hooked it up and winxp detected it...
does this mean if i'm using winxp i don't need the highpoint controller drivers? also does this mean i have to reformat if i move existing os'es on my hard drives to the raid channel
and also, does a raid controller mean you must have hard drives on it? cos this one i have came with highpoint...
oops, not raid drive, i meant 'utilize the raid connector with my hard drives'
i already have two hard drives on one ide channel and two optical drives on another ide channel...both of which aren't the raid one....so can i just plug a dvdr drive into the raid channel and get it to work?

i already have 2 hard drives, a 30 gig and 80 gig, and also 2 optical drives, a dvdrom and cdr drive
if i want to add a dvdr drive do i need an ide controller card? or can i somehow rearrange my computer to utilize the raid ide drives with my hard drives, put...
