You could buy a cheap amp with 4 zones (ie 4 stereo outputs), and get 4 chromecast audio. Through the google home app, you can control each, or sync some zones or all. This assumes that all devices are on the same network, etc.

Another example -WD disabling TLER on your WD 'Green' drives so you cant use them very easily in a RAID array. I had a couple that went back on warranty, and were replaced with new firmware drives whereby TLER could not be enable for my array. WD out for profit so you buy the more expensive RAID...

Some good ideas with the atom mobo and drives. Question is will this handle 4-5 streams of 15-22GB video files, plus host 3 personal websites? this was the reason for i3 and a nic card. I have backups being done from 3am - 6am right now. thnx S ps nerp - what are ur temps in the case....
