Ahhh, I found the reason for the long delay to load XP. Went to MSI forum and found that someone posted the answer. In the Bios, you need to disable the USB KB Storage Support and then it should work. I did this and now computer boots and XP loads in a matter of seconds instead of minutes, hehe...
I experience that delay every time I boot up, however give it around 5 minutes and then Windows XP Pro kicks in and everything runs fine. I have the Corsair memory with the LEDs so I see that during the delay period the memory is about half lit which I assume means that its trying to do...
I thought that one of the advantages of SATA drives over ATA was that they are hot swappable and so you can add and remove the drives just like removable media.
