Check the memory voltage in the bios,I had problems with my board because it defaulted to 1.8v and my memory was supposed to run at 2.1v .I Set the voltage to the correct value in the bios and it works perfectly

stock cooler is obnoxious !!!Its one of the loudest coolers you will ever hear really!.The card is fast and preforms well but its loud at 20 percent its at least 4times louder than my his 4830

That link is to the 2gb model,the 1gb model is a bit slower in some instances lower core and memory clocks but im pretty sure it will beat a 4870 1gb and a gtx 260 pretty good in games that scale,ones that dont not so much
