try Divx 6.0 beta
and pray that with the release of MacOSX Tiger apple will release H.264 for windows users as well....
that will give you up to 4 times greater compression rate ... without losing any quality compared to divx
why natural shape ?
even Microsoft scrapped that option saying that it is not that "natural" ... and it was a mistake...
I had an MS natural but since I got my laptop (now I have 2 laptops) I got used to the laptop keys...
Fast typing, quiet, small and it feels great!
so I got...
I had a NEC 4x for 2 years and burned more than 600 dvds and it still works (my brother has it)
currently I am using a Pioneer 108 16x and it works like charm
any LiteON Pioneer or NEC will do the job .. and statistically the last a LOT!
I did for a while.. the were ok...
but now I use the original ones because the price difference if you get 5 x blacks and 5 x colour is not that great ... and the quality is definately better!
yes no problems... unless it is a device that requires the extra speed (e.g. an external Mpeg-2 encoder). In that case I will not work properly, but no damage will occur..
probably it does, but I have the sensitivity TOO high and I don't have to do that..
anyway if you have a mouse that is not that sensitive and you LIFT it you do lose time there .... so what's the point??
I played HL2 with the MX1000 and I didn't have the slightest problem! It was PERFECT.
It shouldn't have any huge impact .. but ViewSonic claims that the 4ms is the MAX whereas the 12-16ms for the Dell is the min...
I guess if you play a racing game or a fast third person you might see some "lines"... those how own the 2005FPW can let us know :)
myself I hardly play any...
that's a funny thread....
get a better, more silent Cooler for your CPU, but I'm pretty sure that your Graphics Card is more noisy than the AMD64...
Cool n Quite will do the job you want, there's nothing else to do ....
Get a good quality case, and start investing in proper cooling...
it will run fine with the 6600GT and the monitor is pretty good for games as well, it is not it's strong characterist though....
If you only buy a monitor for games .. get something which is 12ms or less...
Have you read about the new 4ms ones from ViewSonic! ???
give us some more details
e.g. Bios Version ...
I use the same Motherboard with an Asus 6800GT and it is rock stable, no problems at all, and the machine runs 24/7 for 5 months now
If I were you, I would definately go for a 19" one ...
You'll keep it for some years to come... so spent that a little bit extra and treat yourself with a nice big screen ! :)
