New GTX260 vs 4870 1GB

hasn't anyone read the last page where Damage repeatedly considers the cards practically even? It's crazy how heated things get when you finally see two cards perform very similarly. It's obvious to me (and I would think most people here) you should just go with the best card that suits...

it comes with the lian li PC201 and like i mentioned before, it's on the plate of the dynapower f3323 by default neither webpage makes any reference to the plate :\

Lian Li PC-V1200 and Asus A8N32-SLI heat pipe ok?

That's a sick looking setup Dan, nice work. May I ask what you used for a waterblock on the mosfets? I have the same motherboard and with watercooling that passive heatsink doesn't get much airflow.. also, have you noticed if it's helped your overclocks / stability at all? I'm pretty...

tomt, can you PLEASE explain this '~1000' ideal? what should be ~1000? HTT multi x fsb? also, how are you getting 2.75ghz? what's ur fsb, htt multi, dram ratio, etc

a8n-sli chipset heatsink fan

I recently purchased the SLi-Deluxe and mounted the danger den chipset waterblock.. it's not a perfect fit, cleaning the stock goop off was a pain in the butt, and i'm still not seeing the kinda temps i wanna see, but it seems to be workin fine. as clean as i could get the chipset...

3r Systems

I have 5 sitting right next to me at the moment. Got a different case to take a closer look at first though.. the 3r systems should be up sometime in may yet though.. after taking a quick glance at the first one i must say it looks quite good.. very plain, but that's not necessarily a bad...

yah i'm just not sure where they pulled that price from.. it just seems too high.. even with an included power supply. (which anymore, seems like something people don't like anyway)

Going Caseless?

plugging cables in and out of components can be a bit of a trick without any mounting.. i recommend tearing apart an old case for the motherboard/pci slot hold if for nothing else since PCI cards aren't locked down into place like AGP cards, they can slip out quite easily
