Thanks guys- I'd forgotten about trying a PCI card. Will do that tommorrow. Do you really think it could be the PSU/CPU? Why would they suddenly stop working over a couple of days?

Computer boots but monitor says no signal?

The motherboard light is blinking green, as it does when normal. It's either the mobo or video card, I'm guessing- will have a new video card to try out fairly soon.

I put a WTB ad up in the FS/FT forum with no responses :( Both the mobo sensor and my hardware sensor showed the CPU to be around 29-33C.

No, it was used- I suppose overclocking is the probable answer. I've put the old P-4 2.4 back in and it works perfectly now, so I'm guessing it and the processor socket are fine. Was quite worried there.

Help me choose my Intel P-4 C upgrade

I should have clarified: OCing isn't possible since I have an Intel mobo :( Also, I'm running a Zalman CNPS 7000 (Al) cooler so I figure I already have a heavy duty heatsink. The only trouble I have is that those Northwoods are so difficult to find- damn Intel for cutting us off!

Ok, I'm pretty sure RAID is disabled, but humor me: how would I specifically disable it on this board? The NVRAID function under "Advanced" in the BIOS is clearly set to "disabled". Is there any other place to do this as well?
