I hear ya. Thats how I got a mx-3 and put AWD into it... min wage job? never coulda did it with that.

Audio static? Codec related? or hardware related?

Alright guys, I got it! I pulled the card.. cleaned the contacts with an eraser. and voila! Thx for the input tho :D

alright, so in the background there's static, it's always there... music or no music. I've tried different speakers. Now, i have an augidy 2 soundcard. Could the huge mess of codec's i have be the issue? Or more hardware related? If it is the codec's.. is there a way to delete all...

I never got the drivers with this harware, and creative isn't all that helpful when it come to support... I have installed the latest drivers in an attempt to fix this. Would this be an issue with my mobo? due to it beeping and all? I installed this: SBA2_PCWDRV_LB_1_84_55-R1, but it's still...

alright, so one late night my comp starts beeping away, i wake up, turn it off, and go back to bed. at first i thought it was my thermaltake case warning my of high comp temps, but it wasn't. So now looked around and saw the beeps have something to do with my audio controllers? I have no...

alright, i have a sealed oem disc for XP home edition, but when i do the setup, (via, insert disc setup, hit a key, wait for setup to load blue screen, it all loads) once its in the setup, it ask's for a 2nd CD, SP2 cd, which i do not have! Is there any way around this? ty, Jordan

Yeah, onboard lan, onboard sound, (not a big issue but still...) **would it not be more stable if they were installed? overall? chipset and all would be recongized by XP, rather than XP using defaults?

Any ideas? only on highspeed for another hour or so, so need to find asap! have to be same drivers you would get with the retail box, creative does not offer them, only updates, thx! :) also have asus p4pe without raid mobo, and have no drivers for it aswell,

Alright sounds good, now the reason it broke is because the HS and cpu are "stuck" together, I have no idea how to pry it apart.. its stuck good, tried a blow dryer, that didn't work, it has that stock crappy aluminum film with some sort of black tar stuff as paste, no idea what to do, I tried...

ahhh ok, my Q is I have s-video out.. but no cable, although i have a s-video->RCA converter, So i convert it and use an rca cable to the tv, now... its does not detect the tv, is there something i can do to detect it? or do i jusr have to use an s-video cable? and i'm, not able to use a...

hey I got an ati radeon 9200 se with S-video out, I don't have the cable, but i have a s-video to rca adapter i am using with a rca cable running to my Toshiba 56 inch HD tv.... LMK plz :) i got broodwars itching to be played on widescreen :D
