:confused: How is this possible? I still want to keep my A8N-e but I want to use the 8800 series video card. I just bought 64 X2 4200+ and will later add 2Gb of memory. Will also buy A8N SLI Premium as a back-up. I dont wanna buy LGA775 yet, I'll wait until the DDR3 is mainstreamed and Vista...

BF2 GOES BACK TO WINDOWS SCREEN..........

Can somebody please help uninstall the Nvidia Firewall? I was looking for this firewalls' uninstall button but can't find it. Have to uninstall it, maybe this is the reason why my computer keeps on restarting.

I think you can still use the passive Zalman as long as there is a fan blowing on it. I have an 80mm fan inside blowing on the northbridge direction.

I got mine at extremepcgear.com and at that time they have the cheapest A8N-E and I don't know how much they cost now. I bought it last month together with the videocard and Zalman NB47J for back-up on the northbridge. What does the old HSF looks like on the northbridge against the new HSF...

My ASUS Update Utility got corrupted, the Uninst.isu won't initiate anymore to uninstall the old bios therefore worthless. I'm updating my bios now using DOS mode. Aside from the unexpected shutdown and startup, everything is fine and running but not nearly perfect.

My memory voltage is set at 2.6v and 2.5-3-3-6 2T timing so I will try and set it at 2.7v. It's really annoying especially when I'm playing a game online and then suddenly it will shutdown and start up again. I haven't run memtest neither because I don't know which version of memtest to download.

The first problem was " DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL", the second is "SYMTDI.SYS". Now I get this alert "OVERCLCK '-' is not a valid integer value". What did I miss? All settings is in AUTO and DEFAULT.

Well, Symantec sucks because they still have no recommendations on what to do. Now I get this new alert, "OVERCLCK '-' is not a valid integer value". I get this alert even though all my setting is in AUTO and DEFAULT.

I guess the problem is this "Symtdi.sys", which is from Symantec. This is what the blue screen is giving me, conflict in IRQL. I just e-mailed Symantec on how to get rid of their stupid bug.

Oh! It's just running on air. Watercooling is expensive and sorta risky. So the San Diego really has a cold bug? But it still shuts down even if it's been running for hours.

What do you mean by phase? Temps for mobo is 36 in idle and 38 when loaded. For the CPU 39 when idle and 47 loaded and at 1.5v and the memory sticks at 2.7 in AUTO mode. I have a chasis fan running also facing the mobo.

Maybe this is the reason why mine shuts down and starts up again like nothing happens? But I've noticed sometime that even though it's been running for a couple of hours, it will shutdown and start up again and will run continously. Any comments or suggestions?

Just finished building this and still observing it. I don't know if I missed something because it shuts down and starts up again like nothing happens. It's like every 6 hours that this problem happens. Everything is stable except for that single problem that it just shuts down and I don't know...

thermal pad. I removed it using paint thinner and then finished it up with 91% isopropyl alcohol then air dried it. Applied some AS5 and...... Voila!!!! Stable at 37C idle but it goes up to 47C-48C loaded. I wonder why?It should be 44-46C. Any comments?
