    Franky- Multiple mailboxes within one mailbox are not supported. You get 2 different mailboxes, one for each number, though. My wife uses the signature number, I use the main number (for personal and business) and we each have our own voice mailbox. IMO that is better than having one...

    Sure it will work. It is just that you have to go to the outside POTS box and disconnect the two corresponding phone wires. Otherwise the pair of wires that you designate for VOIP will have voltage from your POTS running through it, inflicting damage to your gizmo.
