Info Small business ERP server hosted locally?

I'm going based off of the recommended hardware from the vendor. Was planing on a 250 - 500 GB SSD for boot drive and then 4x500gb SSDs in a raid 10 which is like 900g of storage. thats more than enough space for us.

Epicor, dunno how big the db is, hosted on their servers and i don't know that i could check it. small company but fairly complicated. we have lots of various kinds of transactions and also full manufacturing. 'next steps' for using the software will be to incorporate barcodes into our travelers...

help me understand crossfire

CAP is the application profile provided by AMD for CF. Its a separate download so that they can update/fix the application profiles as they have them, rather than waiting for the next driver update. Also, since the vast majority of people are not doing CF, then they aren't making people d/l...

Seems to me like there was a longer gap between E8400 -> i7-920 than there was from i7-920 -> 2500k/2600k. People who just bought a i7-920 or an i5-750 [basically equivalent performance] spending a bunch of money on a new M/B and CPU doesn't make a lot of sense. Time being what it is...

My theory was that the B2 stepping isn't to increase performance, but to tweak manufacturing slightly to improve yields. Perhaps the chips that they have are 'good' its just that they don't have very many. Enough to enter the server market, but not enough to sell to both server and desktop...

Its not the FSB which is locked/unlocked, its the multiplyer. The FSB on SNB chips basically remains static. No OCing of the FSB.

Did the RMA guys "bake" my GPU?

You can't get the RMA'd board and then claim there was nothing wrong with it, if in fact there was something wrong with it, and you fixed it by baking it. That is what would be shady.

I'm certainly not trying to troll you or this thread, but why do people seem to give the size of the monitor when they are saying the resolution games run at. Whether your monitor is 19" or 27", if the resolution is 1920x1080p then the videocard will perform identically.
