Well, I guess the AUO panel used by some 1905FP may be faster.. at least on the paper. In theory the AUO panel is faster than the previous Samsung (20ms vs. 8ms grey-to-grey). But what about the DSP used by Dell within the screen.. is it programed only for 20ms or less?? I guess if Dell want to...
We made a table for checking panel manufacturer. It appears that some users who receive the monitor between 02/24/2005 and 03/19/2005 got the AUO panel.

I hope AnandTech will make an update of the 1905FP review. Because if Dell choses to switch from Samsung to AUO panel this does mean that now this is a different screen. 20ms isn't the same as 8ms. Unless if the DSP used by Dell is programed for 20ms...

BTW the contrast ratio drop to 800:1 from 1000:1 with the Samsung panel. Better results with Samsung for photoshop IMO...
Yes, it's true. At least in France where many users from the following forumchecked their 1905FP recently shipped and got this AUO M190EN03 V0 panel in place of the famous Samsung panel. So, when AnandTech wrote that the Dell 1905FP is almost the same as the wonderful Samsung 193P it is not...
