X1800XL voltage regulator temps.

Well,im running an x1600xt, and from waht i understand the temperatures they run are very similar. Mine idles at 58C and and hits 80C under load. Before i added more case fans it idoled at 68C and hit 101C while gaming. From what ive researched anything under 105C is considered safe.anything...

ATI's X1k midrange..

The x1600xt is just fine now, with all the new drivers they have made huge performance increases. I think everyone is just used to seeing all of the launch benchies.

yeah, true enough, but i would to b able to hook up my satwellite with coax, and my ps2 on the composite so i could cature the video if i wanted? thats why i wondered if you could use both

Im looking for a dual tv tuner, which one do you suggest . I am leaning towards the pvr500MCE. Just a couple qestoins about it, can you use a coax input and a composite input on MCE, and does the MCE remote work for this PVR? If anyone else has different suggestions id be glad to hear them...

so to clarify, something like the P5WD2 has a built in controller for sata drives,right, but if you wanted scsi you would have to buy a controller card for that

that pc 60 plus does look nice, just gotta find where to get it thanks. Back to modular, dual rail power(whats that all mean) this is my first build,wanna make sure its done right, and that im using the correct components.

yeah, noise dosent matter at all, as long as its a solid power supply and good for o/c if i ever leaqrn how to do that. it will probably run a fairly intensive graphics card too.

thks killerjs for the intel side i want this- (640 or D830 or EE)ASUS P5ND2-SLI DELUXE NFORCE 4 LGA775 MOTHERBOARD i think this should be versitlie. everything past that dosent matter to me as long as it performs well with that. o/c will be something im looking into once i learn more.
