This is interesting coz I was just trying to get smart working on my drives with a nf7-s v2 but i have them connected to a highpoint rocketraid 404 controller in raid0 so i'm not sure if i can do it
What I'd be thinking is any one of you guy's who is "carrying" could just lose the plot for a second and go john wayne at the ok corral styley. I mean come on you is all crazy enough to vote for george w :P
It seems crazy too me that you can have citizens walking around with guns legally. Still I suppose it's just what you're used to. Hope it never happens over here (UK).
I'm using a documentBuilderFactory. org.w3c.dom i think. I'll have a look at JDom when I get the chance, I'm hoping i can just botch some kind of skip over whitespace bit in my code though
I've been struggling with xml today, got it doing what i want as long as there's no whitespace in the xml, 1 space, tab or newline and I'm f*&%!d! Is there anyway of telling the parser to ignore whitespace?
wow nice dvd collection MrChad
Ahh think I figured out where I was going wrong, the stuff is a child of tags. Got confused trying to follow example code I found on the web that is wrong. Will stick to Sun's tutorial's from now on.
Hi I'm trying to use DOM but don't really get it. So if I have some xml like this
<button> <---- this is a node ?
<name>ok</name> <--- this an element ? and a child node?
<default>true</default>
<clicked>false</clicked>
</button>
like for the element i can do...
Here is the reply I got from leadtek
Dear Customer,
We suggest that you should to add one more 80mm fan to exhaust to get the balance of airflow,or replace a 120mm fan to instead previous exhaust 80mm fan.
Thanks!

I just had the same thing loads of corruption when playing dow winter assualt with all the settings cranked up. turns out the gpu was running at about 70 c. it runs fine with the side off and a fan pointed at it though. I guess it needs a lot of airflow to cool the gpu heatsink they should...
I agree with Tostada, sure there are applications now that will make use of it they generally not going to be used on a home desktop pc. It comes down to money IMHO in the uk an X2 3800+ costs the same as a single core 4000+ so you are losing 400mhz clockspeed and half the cache for the second...
I have 2 routers and have been unimpressed with either of them. A netgear wired one and a belkin wireless one (used with wires). They are both flakey, both run very hot, and tend to drop the connection for no apparent reason.
When i was building a dfi system a couple of weeks ago I needed to update the bios without a floppy. I posted on dfistreet and some kind person gave me a link to a bootable cd with all the bios files on it. This was fore a nforce4 board though bbut perhaps they have a similar image fore nforce3.
I can't imagine you have caused the graphics corruption by running the card a little too hot. The core slowdown threshold in the driver is set to 120 C as standard so I would assume that GPU's can take this sort of heat before they get damaged. Well I would have thought 90 C or above perhaps...
Mine idles around 56 C in a case with 3 80mm fans although i haven't cleaned it out in ages. Not much lower than yours. I'd be interested to know how the RMA goes.
I've started to really dislike my CM ATCS 201 or whatever it is, it's a real pain to clean the dust filter and there's no front usb or audio. I like the look of this case
Akasa Eclipse-62 Aluminum Case.
I think I might be in the same situation, I bought a leadtek 6800gt not long ago and have recently noticed a very small amount of graphics corruption while playing gta san andreas. So what are you saying that it is all fine once you took the dust filter off?
I have just been playing empire earth II and it crashes with unhandled exceptions if I have the video settings on anything other than low on my system (xp 3200+, 6800gt 1 gig ram). My point is these new rts/strategy games can really push the pixels with all those little guys running about each...
You shouldn't rma stuff that you have killed by dumb overclocking anyway. Just buy another one. If you can't afford to buy another one then don't overclock it in the first place.
