Looking for a new laptop

I know it's gunna be expensive (if it even exist) with a laptop that has a x700 or go6600 that is around 14 inches or so? WS if possible... anyone have any ideas? ( i already have a asus z71v so i dont want a 15.4, planning to sell it to a friend if i get a new one)

I'm looking forward to buying a 1gb model and I figure I might as well get the best model out if possible. anyone recommend any certain memory sticks would be great. thanks :]

Have $1000... Could someone recommend a good laptop for college

if your school is mostly mac based, get an ibook.. otherwise get the 700m with the coupon. both are very light machines, those pounds add up when ur lugging it around all day :] heh

^ oh, thanks for the info leaf... so its not the type that we can just pop out like other laptops... but asus needs to release new gpus for their systems only? like special to asuses or just mxm gpus?

Umm, im the original OP and i was just wondering on cpus, i knew that the gpu was the most important, but i was just wondering if it would have been better to get a certain cpu over another. of course the 6800 is one of the best, but does it come in a 15 inch? no, thats enough for me not to get...

thinking of a new laptop for gaming and i was wondering which was better? if you just have suggestions on laptops in general specs should be something like price around 1500 9700 or better battery life is no concern 15 inch or better please give me some suggestions :]

I'm thinking of buying one to compliment my gaming laptop, pretty sure it'll get hot under my laptop so i might as well buy a laptop cooler. Which is the best out right now? I dont care much for extra usbs on the laptop, but yeah its a plus i guess.
