Do i need to upgrade my PSU?

Ive currently got a Thermaltake xp480 400W PSU that came with my tsunami case and a 3500+ and 6600GT. Im thinking about upgrading to a 7600GT or even maybe a 7900GT but im not sure if my psu can take it. Ive heard 18Amps minimum is needed on the 12V rail for a 7600GT, but ive also heard it draws...

7600gt power supply

actually, in that case would it even be nessesarry for me to change my PSU as ive currently got a thermaltake XP480 400W that came with my case... after reading this review though http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/power/tt_xp480.html i thought i better upgrade... but if it runs my 6600gt fine...

7600gt power supply

Im about to upgrade from my 6600gt to a 7600gt. Ive read that a minimum power supply of 350W and 18Amps on the 12V rail is needed. Now will this do? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817153027 It says it only has 14/15 A on the 12V rails, not 18A.. but there are 2 12V rails...

Strange issue with 6600GT

I also have a 6600GT and am having the exact same problem. Would be great if someone could give me a solution for this. It seems to only happen when i exit out of a game.

thanks for the reply. i tried using a spare pci vga card and the problem seems to go away. so ill be RMAing my card then.

Hey there, thought some of you might be able to help me onthis problem. The LCD hasnt had any problems for the last 3 or so months. Everytime i start the computer, my LCD gives a 'no input' sign for a few seconds, buy the time it gives a picture its halfway through the BIOS, and if i press...

screen text blurry with geforce 6800

Have you made sure the refresh rate is right? I get the same problem with my 17inch LCD and 6600 GT. if the refresh rate isnt set to 75, my screen goes all blurry towards the center.
