My parents both quit after ~20 years of smoking.
They ate sunflower seeds to keep their mouths busy, and fireballs cause it would make their tounges raw and smoking a cigg would hurt. Anything of the like would work. Keeping your mouth and mind busy are the most important things to do.

I'm running into the same problem. I need a specialty doctor, but can't go to the one i need unless my primary care physician recommeneds i go there and has the same hospital privileges. But i don't have a doctor and everyone I call is booked for months. I don't know what to do.
