[Fixed] Old desktop reboots during Windows XP repair installation

Hmm, so I reformatted the drive today and reinstalled XP, and it worked! I guess I just needed to use that instead of trying to repair the existing installation.

Hmm, my only concern with that board would be the lack of PCI slots (only 2). It seems to overclock well though, based on reviews, so I should be able to hit 400+ FSB easily on it right?

Nevermind, I followed the instructions in this thread: http://forums.anandtech.com/me...AR_FORUMVIEWTMP=Linear And it worked just fine. I get a big download speed boost, it hasn't disconnected at all even with 12 mbps upload, and I got all the port forwarding to work too :)

Vista XP dual boot not working

Yeah, I think I was supposed to make my own. It's okay though, since I got XP and Vista to work. The only problem I have now is with the "SATA Native Support" option, which is more of a tiny annoyance than anything. I think it's probably just a driver issue, so it shouldn't be too hard to fix.

My Intel X3100 GPU on my driver gets absolutely horrible performance in Vista. I can't even run CSS on lowest settings with a playable framerate (usually get ~20 FPS). I've heard the performance is much better in XP (~40 FPS on medium settings).
