4000+ San Diego with K8N Neo4 Platinum?

Noisy mobo fan

Can't get Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 to POST

What memory voltage are those sticks? That motherboard likes 1.8 on the memory voltage. When that board first came out people were buying cheap 1.8 memory to get it to post and then going into the BIOS and upping the memory volts.

E6300 @ 46C,... is that too hot?

MSI K8N Neo4-F NVIDIA

I have had that board in my first build for about 6 months now. It fired up first time without any issues and is extremely stable. Not so much as a hiccup. Have a 3000+ winchester with OCZ Performance memory (2 x 1 GB). Also a EVGA 660GT. Good all round machine. go for it. Wayne

Normal Temps for Stock 3000+?

I have a 3000+ Winchester and it sits on 36 degrees at idle since I built it 6 months ago. The HSF is stock. System temp is 34 degrees so I don't see how your going to get below that with air cooling. My HSF is running at 2678 RPM's. My motherboard is MSI. Just my two cents.

:) One thing I like the Raptor for is when using AdAware, Spybot, or any other spyware program there was a noticable improvement in the time it takes to finish. Just my 2 cents.
