You only need to install the RAID drivers if you are planning to set up a RAID array. Given you are re-installing and your drives are of different sizes, I gather you are not using it now so you would not need to hit the F6 for the install. The NF4 SATA would simply act as if you were installing...
X2 works with the SN25P. I have a 3800+ X2 on my SN25P and
it works. Only issue I have is CnQ/PowerNow does not work. From
what I have read, this is an issue only with the 3800+, other X2s
have no problem with CnQ/PowerNow.
There is a rumored AMD price drop for July but not sure if
u want to wait that long. You may want an X700 (OEM) for some extra
oomph. XPC prices tend to drop very slowly but the SN25P can
be had for $389 less $30 MIR giving you abt $241 for CPU, vid card
and RAM so you $600 budget maybe...
I have the 710N and 915N myself. Very clear images and excellent
response times. DVI is a nice to have if u can get it, the B models
weren't out 2 months ago when I bought the pair. Hope you
enjoy your purchse.
The Shuttle SN25P now uses the nforce4 ultra chipset. The earlier
models used the vanilla version then for some reason Shuttle
just shifted to the ultra. The Shuttle website has also updated the
product description to mention the ultra chipse.t
Does anyone know how to swap the base receiver of the MX1000 with
the LX700 ? I already have the LX700 and was thinking of just replacing
the mouse and using just one base station. I can't figure out how to open
up the base station.
