No Signal

Blank screen

Well, the board booted up fine and then it gave me a beep and showed the "CPU unworkable or changed" message and I pressed F1 to bypass it. It showed the windows booting up screen and then the monitor went blank and I was not able to get a signal going again. Anyone have any ideas?

LMAO CPU = motherboard

Well good because she can't even explain what a computer is. CPU= Motherboard HAHAHAHAHA. I also didn't know that CPU's were commonly called "Chips". Some one send her an e-mail telling her how worthless her help is.

UGH! No Video, No Beep Codes....

Same thing happened to me with an ASUS. The on-board video was broken I RMA'd, they returned the same mobo and said some pin was broken, then it stopped working after a little while again. Not to mention how long it took the people to let me RMA it. I ended up buying an ABIT and I have been...

mechBgon Thanks for all the help. The computer is up and running Windows right now. I purchased a new IDE for a great price and all my troubles went away. Once again thanks a lot.

There doesn't seem to be a jumper on the drive. There are pins for it though. Do you think I should try setting it as master?

Sorry for bringing back this post fromt he dead but I have this same problem. I have found out the cause of it all is a SATA WD800JD hard drive, without it everything goes fine. What are my options as of now seeing as I can't install Windows on this drive?
