Holy Cow!!!:Q(Black Mountain that is.)
Those are some Monster Milestones!
Congrats to TeAm Enterprise and SofaKing.:D:thumbsup:
And nice job on the 7mil TeAm.
Thanks Robert!!
It's great to hear that the CPU cycles are doing some good. I spent several years in a biology/genetics lab way back in college. Who wudda thunk that my best research would happen years later??:D
I just posted on the Bug Fix page of the BOINC stats forums and got this reply.
I renamed the obsolete team to TeAm Anandtech [obsolete] at PrimeGrid. Should sort itself out in some time at BOINCstats, too."
Hopefully we'll see a big jump in our BOINC total!
Go TeAM Go!
Great crunching TeAm!!:D
One question---when looking at the Boincstats page for the TeAm I noticed that we are only credited with a few points for PrimeGrid. It appears that there are several TeAm Anandtechs registered with PrimeGrid and our cross-platform BOINC identifier is attached to the...
Ditto. Seems like he had a bit of chip on his shoulder. I was scared to say much after that rather blistering reply.
And declaring taxes on the computer--good point. Maybe Dringdahl was just lookin' out for mondo--keepin' the tax man off his back!!
We'll likely never know.
Best of luck...
Thanks for the stats BMC.
I'm excited because I just convinced my bro-in-law to join me in some DC fun--we're about to make Surge_On a two man mini-team. I think he has one home PC and one laptop--but every little bit helps. I think he's going to start with Rosetta and SIMAP!!
A BIG...
Great work everyone!
Welcome back BadThad--we missed you.
Congrats to geomagick for the milestone.
And lastly, thanks for the fine stats page BMC--I even made the top 20:)
Mike
Just joined SIMAP.
I'm rather committed to Rosetta, but like having another project on the machines incase Rosetta goes dormant for a while. After some reading--SIMAP fit the bill for me.
Go TeAm Go!!
First of all--Welcome Shame, Geomakick and Mondobyte!!
Second--WTG TeAm:thumbsup:
It's kind of fun to see the powerhouses gearing up and dueling for those top spots!
Rebel Alliance vs. TeAm Enterprise--kinda sounds like the title of Star Trek IX or something. ;)
Thanks for the stats BMC.
Welcome MPotter, NesuD, GPTRoASU, and JasonGlen--glad to have you on this great project.:)
As for the MMs--WTG Sofa King:thumbsup: and bobthewizard:thumbsup:
It's great to see the TeAm over 1mil. Congrats to all!!:wine::music::wine:
I just read Dr. Baker's post on the Anandtech forums...
Not to interrupt your road rage OD and Ray--but if you two will look in your rearview mirrors I believe you'll find that objects such as Surge_On and Strider7 may be closer than they appear.
/me shifts into 5th gear and hits gas pedal
VROOOM VROOOM........
:D
An oft heard lament here on the DC forums Oztrail!!
Congrats to the MMs and thanks BMC. The Rosetta link is a good read. Interesting projects with real life significance--I hope:P
Keep it up TeAm.
Ditto that Sid--but it's fun being a little knat buzzing around the ears of these big dogs!
Again, awesome production TeAm!
Glad to have passed 10K--but wouldn't that look better with another zero--yeah 100K--that's where I'm headed!!!;)
I only have a couple of laptops, but they're crunching Rosetta@Home from now on.:D
I only had about 3000 classic seti WUs, but I got most of them after joining the TeAm and learning how to install the CLI version. Gonna miss the classic!
Thanks for the stats BMC.:)
I've too have been watching SofaKing obliterate WUs and will now gleefully watch him warp past me!!:Q
Congrats to Ken008 and BigT383 as well:thumbsup:
US Dist should be on our overtake list here soon if we keep this up.
Go TeAm!
I have all my Boincers giving 10% to Prime and 90% to Rosetta, but I'll keep chipping in my little bit. Dwight seems to be the muscle behind the upward movement--so thanks Dwight.
