GRAW Problem

Well the problem seems to have resurfaced in a very mysterious manner. The first time I run GRAW on a fresh reboot, it works great with great FPS. If I close it and open it again, run teamspeak in the background, or anything similar, my FPS are literally cut in half. This is really getting to be...

GRAW Problem

Cleared out all non-program and necessary files, defragged, and it's fixed. Surprising to me, but it worked. Literally doubled my performance.

In the single player version of the GRAW demo, I stick around the 40s and 50s with all settings all the way up, but as soon as I get in multiplayer (Hamachi), it drops down and stays in the high teens to low twenties. This has really got me confused, especially since it happens no matter...

True, we're not truly a clan. And the drivers fixed it all the way. I thought mine were up to date, having done them in August, but the new betas from October were perfect. Graci.

Teamspeak + BF2

Teamspeak works great on it's own, BF2 works great on it's own, including VOIP, but once I try to run BF2 and TS at the same time, everything gets all crackly. I have to exit BF2 and TS to get it to go away, it's quite annoying. Any suggestions?

Multiplayer benchmarks

If most gaming is done online these days, what use is a benchmark which tests only offline play? Who cares if a 7800GTX/X1800XT averages so-and-so frames in BF2 single player - no one here plays BF2 single player! While it's true that you're looking at the same engine weather on-line or...

You could mention that the law makes criminals of our children. It's a law which is widely broken, and few citizens expect people under 21 to obey it. It has been credited with lowering drunk driving deaths in teenagers - over the same period that drunk driving deaths for ALL age groups...

In Planetside, I had both side buttons mapped, I mapped both scroll directions, AND the buttons in front and behind the scroller. I still needed more. Now that I use an MX, I lost use of the two buttons around the scroller. There's no way I'm losing another.

Regarding point 3, 7800GTX in SLI: Anand's own benchmarks clearly show significant improvements at normal resolutions when going from a single 7800GTX to dual GTX's in SLI. 1600x1200 1920x1440
