We dont know that do we? For all we know,we can assume they are the same demos. AT the very least the setups wouldnt be off by over 20fps.

I didnt miss it. Ive seen that before and know it well. Im saying that at one point, on basically the same test, the an FX at 2.8 scored higher, with LESS graphics hardware. What does that tell you???

Anyone who thinks the outdated bios affects only the identifications string is an IDIOT! The later bios releases fixed a couple of problems, such as setting Cool N Quiet disabled as default. With CNQ enabled in the outdated bios, the AMD could throttle lowering results. Also fix fill 3114...

I cant draw any conclusions yet as to the tests being fixed or not, but after all the reading, especially Rahul Sood's blog , im inclined to believe it.

Im an Intel fan, but I do find it funny that the bios run on the DFI was an older one that could potentially have crippled ,to some affect, the AMD. Intel would have still kicked butt, IMO. But maybe by not so much.

Netgear vs D-Link vs Linksys - best router?

the man speaks the truth...WRT54GS is my pick. 3rd party firmware makes this a no-brainer. with current deals around now, you can pick them up fairly cheap.

Windows XP takes AGES!! to shut down

definately check for virus's or spyware. after that go into the registry and change wait to kill to 0,default is 2000 i think...... HKEYLOCALMACHINE/SYSTEM/CURRENTCONTROLSET/CONTROL..when you highlight control it should be the last one. hope that helps

Anyone know anything about this ECS mATX socket 939 board?

theres some overclocking options on this board, but since im not familiar with it id say head on over to Hardforums SFF section. they have been working on this and the Jetway board.

Home Networking People!

Im not sure where your from, but i got all my CAT6 cable from newegg and my jacks form Radioshack. Neweggs got great prices on cable. Only reason I got jacks from Radioshack is because i needed them quick and its down the street but im sure theres plenty of places on the web that stock them...

WTH are you talking about?? If you Raid0 two 120G drives , you'll end up with 240G ...NOT 120G! WOW!! You really need to read up on the subject,or do it yourself once...lame. Raid1 of two 120's would equal 120G, Raid0 two 120's you double to 240G.

Yes,whenever you create a new array you will wipe all your data....same thing as formatting. And yes you are correct....you can use both of those drives. they dont have to be the same size, you can use a 120 and a 160,but you'll still end up with 240G either way. Its best to match the drives for...

Im not gonna waste my time making a video to prove it to you. Mine also was an Nlite stripped Xp Pro SP2,185mb disk. Put disk in, boot from CD and it does its own thing. Go to MSFN forums(which im sure you already have ) and ask how long it takes some of those guys. Stripped Unattended CD's...

Im not saying you FOS....but i can guarantee you that i install XP pro in 14 minutes,easily. Thats with one 80G WD. When I used Raid0 on my other pc, it installed in 12 minutes. And that was repeated time after time when i tested that setup.
