Software to bench, test a new built computer.

I am looking for a list of benching software, stress tests for a new computer build. I know some off the top of my head, but never found a list that lists them all. I think it be nice if a list is known. (I can update this post as I go) here is a small list that I know of. Benching...

HS/F combo for around $50 (+$10)

nope http://photos13.flickr.com/19261328_5a50c689f8_o.jpg went with the 120. considering I normally always buy retail, i looked at it as buying the upgraded HS/F for only $30 (since the retail was about $30 more than OEM, which I bought)

well, considering that I will have 2 PSU fans, and 4 case fans, not sure how much noise it will actually make ... if anything, the other 6 fans will be louder .. but even so, was at dfi-street forums, and they saying that the XP-90 is better in terms of cost, as the 120 only cools by a couple...

well, going with your point, if i really wanted to do better cooling with overclocking, you would go with watercooling in my opinion, not fan cooling ... but even so, MANY users have reported OC'ing fine on stock cooler anyways .... but even I wouldn't take that chance myself. but unless...

7800 availability

hmmm well if it's just over $500, then I guess I can go with the 7800. The 6800U I plan on getting is $525. so for a small increase at same price, might as well.

DFI LanParty nF4 SLI-DR . I have a big enough case(super tower). at first, I do not plan on OC'n . but I probably will be, but not enough to make me go WaterCooling.

buying the 120mm with the XP120 is $21 more total at frozencpu ..... is the extra $20 worth to take the step up ?

will keep that in mind. even thinking about getting the highoutput fan. its only $1 more, so don't think it be bad to have it. and with the speedfan, I can adjust accordingly. offtopic: i wonder how dynamat (forgot name. the sound dampers you can put in cars) would work in a computer, LOL

ya, panaflow it is! i just like to have things match, and im picky like that sometimes, but not enough to sacrifice usability and performance and all. thanks! order has now been placed.....

i was also recommended the XP-90 aluminum, and with the same remarks....barely any difference... was also recommended to just get the retail, but i been patient enough with waiting for the X2's to just be released, and its much more... can get a HS/F upgrade for almost free ..... so now...

Buying my X2 4400+ OEM, so need HS/F combo...getting AS5 also .... but average price for retail is about $50 more.... so looking for a good HS/F combo for roughly that, and maybe $10 more max (incl shipping) ...... what do you guys think of these: 1...

can i ask where you read the review for the samsung 915N with WoW? I in the market for a LCD 20.1" (looking at the dell 2001FP now) and I currently play WoW now also. also, what is "ghosting" ?

i never had problems with pricing. i always checking newegg vs monarchcomputer vs zipzoomfly and find it varies between products. the shipping with newegg is the fastest. I placed an order yesterday around noon, and got the cheapest shipping (since it's normally fast anyways) and I got it...

I realize that computers are always changing and always something new... I am not waiting on that. I have to move out at end of year, and I won't have a computer then, so I will definately be buying a computer by then if I haven't by then. and wow, $1000 for a video card? geez, what ever...
