TV display issues

Thanks for all of the help and suggestions. I will probably just switch to a push-on for the coaxial cable so it isn't quite such a pain, but it really isn't that big of deal. The picture is clear and looks really good playing ogg, avi, mkv (etc..) files, and that was what I want to use it...

Thanks, disconnecting the coaxial cable did it! Although it is tedious to screw in and out the cable everytime I want to watch video files on my TV, it is still cheaper than buy a DVI-I to component adapter and a 12 ft component cord.

WTF? Notepad trying to contact the Internet

Spybot, Bazooka, AVG, Trojan Guarder Gold generally catch all of that stuff...tells you how to get rid of it/does it automatically for you.

My mouse isn't charging

Is the red light on the bottom of the mouse still showing up? If it is, then it isn't in the charger correctly. If it isn't, then it sounds like something is broken...Usually when something similar than that happens to me, I just giggle it aroudn in the charger and then it charges fine.

My mouse isn't charging

How long have you had the mouse? I have had my MX 500 (quite similar to the MX 700) for quite a while (over 2 years I believe) and have never had a problem with it. Also, if you just got it, you may have done something wrong, but if this happened "all of a sudden" then it might the rechargable...

Why the step back to LCD's?

I don't understand the CAD design complaint. I work on CAD all day and use 2 LCD monitors to do it. There is no way I could use two CRT's, I dont have the desk space.

The Death of PC Gaming?

The only thing that will seriously damage (not kill, PC gaming will never "die" completely) is when and if all console games for whatever system accept a keyboard and mouse as the controls. When that happens, I pretty much have no reason to play PC games because by that time console online...

That Gurck guy pretty much lost all credibility when he said Catholics AREN'T Christians. That was a knee slapper. In any case, don't use religion, even if just as an example. It obviously offends some people.

I am considering buying a Revolution just so I can play the 20 or so good games nintendo releases in 5 years that aren't on any other platform (Zelda for instance). I have a PS2 and I still have to get around to borrowing a gamecube froma friend just to play Windwaker and the new one coming out...
