I was in the same dilemma...and i decided to go with 170 because of the higher multi x10 and beacuse my ram is value....also the difference i paid was 35$....so it was a easy decision...

ok i did that BUT i cant see my drives in the upper window where i can formatted them, i see them in the lower one and my 2 drives are: online but unlocated... what can i do now??? i cant c them either in my computer...
hi i have a msi neo4 platinum on sli. i just hooked up 2 sata on silicon image but i cant see them on windows under "my computer" what is happening???? i can see them on the silicon image configuration utility but not in my computer.

why u not going with tt??? its a great hs. i have it and i like the fact that i can change the quite fan to a more "performance" fan and get better results.
the point IMO is that tt fan runs very slow is not a performance fan but a quite fan. I would like to see how tt is performing by using a better "performance" fan.

hi i am thinking for weeks now to setup a file server or to bauy a NAS. I have an old pentium which i can use as file server but again i have to buy 2 drives and a pci sata card because does not support raid and ofcourse sata. i need it to store and access mostly photos, mp3's and files from 3...
why dialers( i mean those programms that were installed and changed the phone num... which caused spending $$$$) do not work when someone has dsl/cable connection?
i have an tt typhoon and i ll tell u my opinion... idle temps are not that low BUT when i load my cpu with applications typhoon keeps my temps low... fact: 33 idle and 42 load for 10hours in prime95. amd 64 3000 oc 2250mhz. So when my cpu is loaded temps are not getting very high in my opinion...
yes u have to put a little extra effort to screw them into the original backplate... How i did it: I just put one screw in one side of H using a long screw driver ( i put it a little bit in just not to get out of the backplate). So the one side of the H is now secure... the other side u have to...
i have the same HSF i used the m/b's original backplate. i put the typhoon on my cpu. After that i took a long screw driver and that was all... i did that 2-3 times because it was the first time i was using a HSF other than cpu supply and didnt place it well. why r u using the nuts???

now about my temps : CPU: idle 34 load 41...
ok i got my cpu to 245x9=2200 (for novice i think its good). then i tried to isolate the memory and consolidate.
I set board volts to 2.6 i set mem clock to 200 and then i got problem my pc didnt boot up... i have value ram corsair.
also in msi where can i found the setting to use memory...
