    For just surfing or gaming .... 802.11b is WAY faster than your ISP connection.... I would recommend a faster "g" router if you have a need to xfer files wirelessly INSIDE your LAN. If you don't need that feature .... then it's a waste anyway... go for the b router. B for instance is 11mb...

    Open windows explorer, and go to the top menu .. tools/options/view "tab" .... Now Uncheck the box for "hide file extentions for know file types" Remember to click the box for "set all of your folders like the same view" click "like current folder" You're all set man .... you should be ok now...
