Actually this is not a good argument. A provider should not get a pass because they are less expensive, when they promise you the service in the first place. If they advertise, "We are cheaper because are service is happenstance" , then OK I'd give them a bye.
Trying to force a ROM update does not work. You point the Gizmo to the cfg file, but the file itself disables updating. I have the 4.54 rom on my disk, but have no idea how to load it.
I guess you'd have write your own cfg file and point the Gizmo to it.
I don't see a "WLAN" anywhere as an option.
Did a search for the thread on DSLReports, could not find.

Wait for a :heart: attack or fire I guess. If you live in Washington DC, it doesn't matter if you have 911 anyway. My friend advised me check the 911, and I said exactly the same thing, "uh you want me to call 911, no thanks"

I signed up Monday and was up Wednesday afternoon!
Tried the gizmo after the router and get a slight echo, and had a call drop.
Called my friend back on my POTS, and he said he could hear everything I was saying but I could not hear him. I just installed the gizmo directly to the cable...
