    After updating your bios did you load setup defaults. Usually I find that whether Intel or AMD, if I do not do this, invariably I get usb problems with kb/mouse, etc. Edit: After loading setup defaults, save and exit, re-enter bios setup again for custom settings, if any.

    6.70 (do NOT use any older version) with nVidia ide and ncq, but without nVidia firewall. You can always try out the ide drivers and if you have problems uninstall them. I also use the HD160JJ - quite a nice drive.

    The delayed boot times are usually on account of some Sata-2 drives (maxtor/hitachi) ncq incompatibility. Check your event logs. I tend to agree with this and do feel that $200 is a bit too much, otherwise it is a pretty decent and stable board.
