Win7 Freezes. Hardware or software problem?

I have almost the same build as you, 2500k, 120gb Vertex 3, Asus P8P67, 2 X 4gb G Skill RAM. Mine will freeze up at some point in the first 5 minutes of booting into windows. Sometimes it will only freeze up for 30 seconds, sometimes longer. Now it's getting worse and it never un-freezes. Very...

What is PFC on a Power Supply?

I've been looking into buying a 24-pin power supply and I noticed some have PFC. Some have active or passive PFC. What is this and what's the difference between active and passive? DO I need it?

Problem with new PSU (Seasonic S12)

Humm..... Screwy PSU?... Have you tried calling Seasonic Tech support? Might not be fun but they know more about their stuff than anyone prolly.

get a differnt HDD, either a raptor or something SATA II compatible. If you plan on overclocking then just get the venice 3000 instead of 3200 and save some $$$
