Best sub-$50 card, PCI-E 16x

My old X700 card is dying and I need to find a sub $50 replacement quick. Basic home use; light gaming. One son plays MS Flight Sim and complains about speed, but that's about it. Any suggestions? Thanks all.

Windows XP autologon tweak - question

Unfortunately, I don't think I can solve this with a script. The program I'm using is "Clean Slate" from Fortres. Clean Slate does the cleanup, either at logoff or on a restart, but can only do so after all files are closed. Using the restart option works fine, but I don't necessarily want or...

I'm trying to figure out how to tweak the Autologon registry entry in XP. Basically, if set, this will automatically log a user on as soon as he/she logs out. I am using this in a student computer lab in conjuction with a "clean up" program that will undo whatever the previous user has done...

Windows printer sharing problem

Thanks. I can get to the sharing tab no problem. And the printer is shared. And my computers are able to connect with Guest access for file sharing. I just can't connect to the shared printer with Guest access. I'm stumped.

Oh yea, the printer is shared. I can see it either via network neighborhood browsing, or by going through the Add printer wizard and browsing. I just can't connect to it.
