I haven't posted here in ages and most of my past interaction has be FS/FT.
My cousin is in a big competition as a DJ and I was wondering if I could get your help in voting him up (If he's your favorite, of course... :))
Thanks!

I believe you, I felt like this was the case, but can you provide proof? I can't seem to find anything definitive.
Edit: Didn't see the Mod reply. To answer it: Thank you for your response and please realize that I had no intent on doing or discussing anything illegal.
I didn't mean that to sound like such an accusation, I apologize. So for freelance, you would advise the educational version as my best option? Thank you for your insight!
So are you supporting piracy? The real issue here is that I don't want to spend $550 and not even be able to feel more legitimate than if i had just pirated the suite.
I think I'm going to just bite the bullet, and buy full commercial. I know developers work hard, and if that's the way it is, that's the way it is. I'm confused because of the fact that a vendor of educational software told me over the phone that I could use what they were selling for profit. I...
Can Adobe CS4 Academic be used for profit?
I am finishing up with school and am going to focus more on freelance web development. I was wondering if I will be able to use the software that I currently own.
Thank you in advance for your answers!

what an INSANELY annoying thread, this reminds me of the horrible experience of hanging out alone with a couple and having to deal with the fact that they don't realize that no one else at all cares about their quirks
So true! I have a sustainability in business course this year and here is a picture of my notes no joke....

Hmm I saw a dot.htaccess file in the server root, added the rule to that with no change, went into my web directory and added a new one there with only the two lines that you specified and nothing changed, then added to all the folders in the site and still no change. There has to be some reason...
troy is seems like your reply is just what I need... can you just explain it out a little better for me, say I have this as a link http://www.url.com/?page=page , how would i make it both look better and make it good for crawling in code? you're the best, thank you so much
The site I made has most of the content in the index, and then has checks for $_GET variables passed through links in the URL. I was wondering how search engines would use this... do they even see the content. What can I do?
Thank you!
I do most of my own design, but get bogged down with the coding. I'd be finding the projects for us and doing the template design. You would come into the application development and any behind the scenes work needed. Most stuff is fairly basic. Reply with your skill level and how much you...

That list should keep you busy!
we thought about hinges but it was just a pain to implement. It's actually quite small when you see the actual stand. Also, we've designed our packaging now and it's a coffin shapped boxed, pretty sweet, I'll have pictures up soon.
We actually just routed the faceplates out of acrylic sheets using a cool jig we cut out on the plasma cutter....
Jig
We welded metal handles onto the jig after this pic was taken.
We're getting close to ending production... but in the works are a machined hole for a rock band mic and a peg for cords.
It's actually not very wide, only 10 inches wide by 23 inches tall.
Added some pics of a few of the custom designs we'll be using, as well as a pic of our more final...
