Mini ITX build questions

Sorry but a different question: which case are you planning to use? I am trying to do the same thing and could only find Hd-plex H3 to be the closest in terms of size. Amazingly, it is also one of the few sub $300 cases with slot load (wow... one would think there would many mac-mini knock off's...

fanless mini-itx build

I am building a fanless mini-itx pc with HD-Plex H3 box. I was wondering which mini itx board I should go with. The pc will be for everyday use, limited gaming (angry birds, bejeweled type stuff), moderate to heavy photoshop and adobe premier use. Will also be using it a secondary blu-ray movie...

Advice required.

I am also looking at the Toshiba R835-P56x (at $859 Amazon) for an everyday laptop (word, photoshop, internet browsing, movies, occasional video editing/rendering) ... maybe the occasional gaming but nothing more than stuff like bejeweled, some RPG. Most important is the weight - this seems to...

AMD 939 3200 enough for 8800GTS?

Thanks for the suggestions. I am trying avoid changing the MB - don't want to invest too much. I want to play games like Crysis (when it is out), FEAR - but looks like I can't play it at a high resolution (1080p) even if the 8800GTS can support it. I was going to change the whole system (to C2D)...

AMD 939 3200 enough for 8800GTS?

Unfortunately, the board is the Gigabyte GA-K8N51PVMT-9-RH and it doesn't support many overclocking options. Have anyone had any luck overclocking with this board?

AMD 939 3200 enough for 8800GTS?

I have a 3200 939 setup with 2GB ram. Is it enough to support a 8800GTS? The MB is the gigabyte 6150 micro atx board with very few options to OC. If I need to upgrade, pls suggest a 939 processor that might support the setup.

I installed nvidia's 96.85 drivers and it doesn't seem to be working. Nvidia's install finishes without complaing. But immediately after it finishes vista complains that the driver didn't install correctly. I see the following in the properties for the device driver: ==== This device cannot...

dvd burner recognition problems

The channel is not shared by anything else. The BIOS correctly identifies the drive at boot up. Basically, everything seems to be right but obviously something is missing.... What is frustrating is that when uninstall and scan for new hw the drivers are exactly the same as when the drive doesn't...

connecting a gtx to sharp lc-45gx6u

Forget 1920x1080, I'm trying resolutions starting from 640x480 and it doesn't work. I even setup the Nvidia to recognize monitor as HDTV. But no luck. I am wondering if there any setting on the TV that I haven't taken care of.

I connected it to the DVI input (Input 5) and made sure the type of input is Digital PC. But no luck. when I connect a regular computer LCD screen to the second DVI output of the GTX it works fine.
